Down the Rabbit Hole

Hello everyone! Hope your all having a great week. I woke up this morning to snow covering everything outside so of course we'll all be out sledding and playing later today. Anyways, last week I was talking to my dad in the car and he loves the show Supernatural but I don't watch it so usually he just tells me what's been happening and he started talking about the two main characters Dean and Sam Winchester. I don't watch the show so I don't know who's who but he was saying how at the beginning one of the brothers was like the sort of "bad brother" and the other was kind of the "good brother" but as the show went on each of them started to show different qualities and the "good brother" ended up having some darkness in him. Here's a list of books that I can't wait to read this year. (Along with some books that I didn't get around to reading in 2015.) I could only think of one way to start off the new year and that is with two words: Doctor Who. So, I am a new fan. I've heard the words Doctor Who uttered on the lips of many and half the people that I call friends watch the show. A while back I had no shows. To have no shows to watch is like... having no air to breath or water to drink for me. It is critical for my sanity that I have shows to watch. And so I found myself surfing through Netflix and Hulu in desperation. Doctor Who stuck out to me like it has countless of other times but I scrolled past because I had already promised myself I would never watch it. Never! It sounded too weird and whack for me -- and that's saying something because I live on weird and whack! -- and besides I like my main characters to look the same and be consistent through the show. Doctor Who didn't do that. The main character the Doctor changed faces, personality, and voice every few seasons! And I thought that would drive me craz...

I haven't been writing on here for a while. Life got in the way and I got completely distracted and I also had a bit of writers block when it came to the blog.  But with the new year comes new resolutions and new inspiration. Starting with the blog. I've changed it all up and given it a different name and everything.  Why the new name? I've wanted to change it for a while and I thought it was about time to flip everything around. And also from here on out the blog will be about more than just writing. I want to cover TV shows, movies, and life while also sharing my passion for reading and writing.  I also have a brand new planner from Christmas that I am dying to use from my book writing to college work to blog posts. Let the mad dash to 50,000 words begin! This is my first year doing nano so at the moment I don't have any special tips and tricks to get through the month of November but I will posting how I'm doing and my progress and all I've learned as I go through the writing month of November.    Happy writing! So, I know I said I would have a blog series, but I've recently become sort of busy and also I'm having some story difficulties. On the spur of the moment a few months ago I added a few chapters of my book Truest on Wattpad, but then there were a lot of stressful events going on and I promptly forgot to add anymore. Hey everyone! So, next week will be about revision but I totally forgot that this weekend I was going to my grandma's so I forgot a post for yesterday. But, I want to share the awesome time we had at the pumpkin farm. It was a real blast. :)  There was a pumpkin Noah's Ark.  And a beautiful Children's Garden.  Plus Peacocks!  Overall, it was a great day spent with great people. :) Can't wait to get my revision post up next week!  Have a great weekend everyone!
