Chapters Six and Seven of Hunter's Heritage!

Chapters six and seven of Hunter's Heritage are now up on Wattpad!! Since it was Christmas week, I didn't get around to having them ready by Friday and I completely spaced yesterday too and didn't have time to read over them as thoroughly as I usually did, but I did manage to fix most of the grammar I think. Here's a sneak peek: And then his brown eyes sparked to life and he nodded, his hands fisting at his sides as he made up his mind. Tabitha’s mouth formed a wide smile as she nodded too. “So, you’re in?” “Yeah, I’m in. I’ll meet you guys on the road to the highway tomorrow morning.” Tabitha smoothed her hands together. “I knew you would see it my way. This is going to be just what you need Jonas.” “I don’t know about that, but I do want justice for my parents.” Her smile turned down into a frown and she nodded. “And you’ll get it. Just stick with me, Jonas, and you’ll get the justice you deserve. We’re leaving at five in the morning, so make sure to be

Looking Forward to 2019

Wow! I can't believe how quickly December has gone by. I feel like this past week had crawled by slowly but that's only because it's been Christmas week. The rest of December has just flown by and there's only like 4 days left of 2018! I'm in a wildly different stage of life than I was last December. Last December I was still technically a teenage, 19, and now I'm in my twenties! I was getting ready to take my final few semesters of classes so I could graduate this month and now I have! I have my Associates and instead of getting ready for more classes in January, I'm... well, I don't really have anything to get ready for. This coming Spring and Summer will be a time of getting my driver's permit and getting Second Star ready to query to agents and try to get traditionally published. This Spring and Summer will be the first time in a long time where I have no classes to get ready for. I get to focus on my writing and that's fun to think about but

2018 in Review

So 2019 is within sight and I figured since next week is Christmas and I am going to be busy pretty much all next week that I would get all my review posts out of the way this week. 2018 has been a big year. I turned 20... got my Associates degree... had the Summer off without any classes or anything and published two books! 2018 was a year full of new experiences and lots of writing. I toggling so many different projects that I can't believe I managed to get all of them done before the years end. For the first time ever I published a book on Wattpad in segments and that was a fun, new experience. Actually I wanted to share some of my favorite Wattpad books since I didn't add them in my post on Wednesday about books of 2018 and 2019. Just because Wattpad books aren't "published" or on Goodreads doesn't mean I didn't count them as books I read this year. So here are some of my favorites: Belle Morte series by Bella Higgin  Friends with the King of the

Books of 2018 and Books I'm excited for in 2019!

So not to be completely dramatic, but this is my first week of freedom! I have no homework, no quizzes, no tests. No nothing. And it feels pretty amazing. This also happens to be the week before Christmas. Where has all the time gone? I feel like December has gone by so quickly and Christmas is coming up too fast! In just two weeks it'll be 2019 and in a few more weeks The Wicked King and Slayer will be out. Those are two of my most anticipated reads of 2019. But I'm getting ahead of myself. Before I get into all the books I'm excited for in 2019, here's all the books I've read in 2018. It's considerably a lot more than I read in 2017. I read more than 50 books, which for me is quite a lot in a year. Books I Read in 2018:  Empress of a Thousand Skies by Rhoda Belleza: This was the first book I read in 2018. It started out really good but it sort of lost my interest near the middle (mostly because there was little to no romance in it and usually I like havi

Graduation (ft. TVD gifs) + Hunter's Heritage Chapters!

So this week was the week!! I turned in my last paper for my library science class on Monday and took my final exam for my math class on Tuesday. Technically the semester will officially be over on Saturday, but I have nothing else to do. No homework, no quizzes, no papers. Nothing. And it's a pretty awesome feeling. I will always love this gif of Caroline I've been having mixed emotions about the fact that my final semester is over. I'm very goal oriented, I like to be always working toward something and accomplishing something and with college and classes, I was doing that. I've been working toward this week for four years. And now that it's over, I have some plans but nothing definite. I do like having definite plans too... I like knowing what to expect and what I'm going to be doing a month or two or even three from now and right now... I don't have that. It's a little daunting and this new season of life will definitely be an adjustment. This
