Not to play favorites, but I think this is my favorite cover out of all of my books. I just love it so much and my mom completely outdid herself creating such a gorgeous cover for Desert Flower!

Here's what the book is all about:

All Rayla’s life, she’s always thought she was normal. She had a plan for her life. Grow up, get married, and start a family of her own. Step into her place in society just like every other girl in her small oasis village. But after it’s revealed in her coming of age ceremony that she is unable to have children, and therefore, unable to continue her family line, Rayla believes she’s been cursed by the gods.

She runs away into the desert to escape being ostracized by her village and shaming her family any more than she already has. But after a near-fatal encounter with some dust dogs, Rayla is rescued by a handsome desert pirate, his twin sister, and their guardian who are willing to help her journey across the desert to get to the City of a Thousand Lights where Rayla plans to start a new life for herself.

Along the way, as they encounter raiders and ghouls, and ghostly dragons, Rayla has to try to accept the truth of what she was told during her coming of age ceremony and discover what she is truly capable of.

Enjoy this standalone set in the Triadic Kingdoms world full of found family, healing, magic, and sweet romance.

You can pre-order it HERE and add it to your Goodreads shelves HERE.

How to Revise like a Pantser ft. Big Hero 6 Gifs

Happy Wednesday everyone! I hope you've had a great week so far and that you have a great Easter weekend ahead! We plan on going to my grandparent's on Friday to celebrate Easter with family and spending the night there so that'll be a fun time. :) Alright, so I contemplated doing an Easter-y post on here but I wasn't even sure what that would look like... So instead, I thought I'd do something fun and happy in honor of the celebration of Easter on Sunday. Without further ado, here is your Big Hero 6 gif filled revising process from a real life pantser: The end of your first draft is in sight! You type like crazy, stay up past your normal bedtime until it is finished. When you type The End, the satisfaction that you actually did this thing sets in. Guys, it is the sweetest feeling ever. Knowing you worked so hard to complete this draft and came out on the other side. Unscathed? Perhaps not. But triumphant? Definitely! That first draft is a total disast

Cover Reveal: Golden Touch!!

Happy Tuesday!!  Today's the day! I turn 23 and I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate than to share the cover for Golden Touch! I think this is by far my favorite cover my mom has ever done. It's crazy to think that this time last year Golden Touch was still just a first draft and I was in the middle of writing book 2 of the series. A defining part of my twenty-second year will always be having revised Golden Touch and written almost the entire Archive Series. And now I get to open up my twenty-third year with sharing the cover and writing book the first draft of book 5, the very last book in the series. God is so good guys. I really think He gave me Golden Touch and this whole series a few months before the events of 2020 started. He gave me a story I could get lost in, I could find joy in even during some of the hardest times of the year. And now I get to share the cover and I get to close out the series and I just pray and hope that God will use Golden Touch and

Friday in Review: May Monthly Wrap-Up

Happy Wednesday once more everyone! I hope you've all had a great May. May has been full of lots of life stuff and writerly stuff and reading. I am so excited to share it with you all (along with an awesome new thing I'm doing for next month on here)! May Writing: May was full of lots of writing... Like lots. I finished draft four of The Lost Ones, came up with the name The Lost Ones and finished editing draft five. Now comes the hard work of plugging in all those changes and edits into my Word doc. Oh the joys of writing... ;) But for real, I am so excited that I finished the read through for TLO and I am even more excited to finish this draft so I can get it ready for betas. This month I also planned out the series... I've never planned out a series ever. I'm a pantser so what do I do? I make life hard for myself by winging not only my novels but entire series too. That whole not planning thing? It didn't work for me and since I'm wanting to take myself m
