Emerald Phantom Cover Reveal

 Happy Friday!

Today is the Emerald Phantom cover reveal!! This cover was so hard to put together, but in the end it was worth all the wait and stress because it turned out gorgeously! If you don't know, Emerald Phantom is book two in my five book Archive Series and is the sequel to Golden Touch. It will be out January 6, 2022 and is up for pre-order now. :b

And now without further ado, here is the gorgeous cover!!

Isn't it so amazing?? It matches the Golden Touch cover so perfectly while also being it's own thing. What I love most about this cover is all the details. The little hands in the emerald (that you will understand if you read it haha), the Aztec type triangles in the corners and then the tiny little triangles behind the emerald. It just is so incredible and I can't wait to hold it in my hands and put it side by side with Golden Touch!

Here's the blurb (be warned that it does have spoilers for book one in it!):

Two weeks after her near fatal encounter with Lewis Atlas in the mountains, Amaya isn’t sure if she can keep juggling everything being thrown at her. Her parents are furious with her for running away with Tyler for days on end, Darren won’t speak to her and now she has an incorporeal boy named Mateo, who claims he’s been trapped in the emerald for centuries, stalking her.

Darren can’t stop thinking about his touch turning Amaya to gold and is now determined to stay away from her. The last thing he wants to do is hurt another person. As Cleo has him searching for more information on the pendant that may hold more secrets than they realize, Darren is haunted by his past and grappling with his growing feelings for Amaya.

Together, the team has to regroup and face not just what happened up in those mountains, but themselves too as new revelations are revealed and long buried secrets are uncovered. They have to get the Archive back from Lewis, free Mateo from his imprisonment and race to be the first to discover the truth about the pendant and the Archive before anyone else can get to them first.

You can pre-order it HERE.

And you can add it to your Goodreads HERE.

What do you think of the cover?? Let me know in the comments!

How to Revise like a Pantser ft. Big Hero 6 Gifs

Happy Wednesday everyone! I hope you've had a great week so far and that you have a great Easter weekend ahead! We plan on going to my grandparent's on Friday to celebrate Easter with family and spending the night there so that'll be a fun time. :) Alright, so I contemplated doing an Easter-y post on here but I wasn't even sure what that would look like... So instead, I thought I'd do something fun and happy in honor of the celebration of Easter on Sunday. Without further ado, here is your Big Hero 6 gif filled revising process from a real life pantser: The end of your first draft is in sight! You type like crazy, stay up past your normal bedtime until it is finished. When you type The End, the satisfaction that you actually did this thing sets in. Guys, it is the sweetest feeling ever. Knowing you worked so hard to complete this draft and came out on the other side. Unscathed? Perhaps not. But triumphant? Definitely! That first draft is a total disast

Cover Reveal: Golden Touch!!

Happy Tuesday!!  Today's the day! I turn 23 and I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate than to share the cover for Golden Touch! I think this is by far my favorite cover my mom has ever done. It's crazy to think that this time last year Golden Touch was still just a first draft and I was in the middle of writing book 2 of the series. A defining part of my twenty-second year will always be having revised Golden Touch and written almost the entire Archive Series. And now I get to open up my twenty-third year with sharing the cover and writing book the first draft of book 5, the very last book in the series. God is so good guys. I really think He gave me Golden Touch and this whole series a few months before the events of 2020 started. He gave me a story I could get lost in, I could find joy in even during some of the hardest times of the year. And now I get to share the cover and I get to close out the series and I just pray and hope that God will use Golden Touch and

Friday in Review: May Monthly Wrap-Up

Happy Wednesday once more everyone! I hope you've all had a great May. May has been full of lots of life stuff and writerly stuff and reading. I am so excited to share it with you all (along with an awesome new thing I'm doing for next month on here)! May Writing: May was full of lots of writing... Like lots. I finished draft four of The Lost Ones, came up with the name The Lost Ones and finished editing draft five. Now comes the hard work of plugging in all those changes and edits into my Word doc. Oh the joys of writing... ;) But for real, I am so excited that I finished the read through for TLO and I am even more excited to finish this draft so I can get it ready for betas. This month I also planned out the series... I've never planned out a series ever. I'm a pantser so what do I do? I make life hard for myself by winging not only my novels but entire series too. That whole not planning thing? It didn't work for me and since I'm wanting to take myself m
