My Top Ten Favorite Fiction Relationships for Valentines' Day

Happy Valentines Day everyone!! Eat lots of chocolate, watch your favorite romance movie and enjoy the day. Tomorrow is actually my little brother's birthday. He turn 12! :O which is so crazy!

Anyways, since it's Valentine's Day, I thought I would share my top ten favorite fictional relationships. (Warning: a lot of them will be from TVD and TV shows).

  1. Elena and Damon from TVD: They, of course, are at the top of the list because they are forever my favorite OTP! I loved watching their relationship through the seasons. Elena was literally Damon's only friend for a long time and despite having disagreements and such, they stayed friends until that friendship became something more. All that waiting was worth it in the end.
  2. Caroline and Stefan from TVD: My second favorite OTP. They are just perfect together. I feel like they match better than Elena and Stefan did. Caroline's the perky, optimistic girl and Stefan's the brooding hero. Their friendship was adorable and Caroline really made Stefan happier and more alive than Elena ever did. She sort of drew the lightness and goodness out of him and made him less brooding. She made him the best version of himself, while Stefan accepted Caroline for all of her fault of jealousy and control freaky-ness.
  3. Bonnie and Enzo from TVD: This pairing was an unlikely one. I loved Jeremy and Bonnie and this relationship didn't even happen to like the second to last season! The relationship happened in pretty much one episode, which is truly amazing that they can make an entire, passionate relationship between two characters who originally despised each other that fans cheered for and cried over in a single episode. Actually, I think out of the whole show, Enzo is the best boyfriend on TVD. He's so romantic and respectful of Bonnie and caring and sweet.
  4. Max and Liz from Roswell: I just recently watched Roswell and, despite me really liking Michael and Maria, I really loved Max and Liz. They didn't have as much drama as other high school teen shows and I really liked that. Their relationship didn't happen all of a sudden either and I liked that too and even though there were many ups and downs they always stuck up for one another. And besides, Max is the sweetest guy ever.
  5. Iris and Barry from The Flash: I know there are people who say they don't like Iris (I do not understand the Iris hate!), but I really love her and I love the relationship between her and Barry. It's always been so mature and so grounded. There's never been a ton of drama or misunderstandings and no one's acted like immature kids and throwing tantrums about something, mostly because they never really lied to each other or made other, common mistakes that fictional couples do. Heck, they even got married and have a loving, stable marriage.
  6. Amy and Ty from Heartland: Uph! This relationship is all the way up there with the TVD couples. I love Tye and Amy together. From the first episode, I shipped them hard. They met when they were teenagers and Tye was a juvenile delinquent and Amy was a sad girl who had just lost her mom and together they made a future for themselves together. They were first just friends and then best friends and then started dating. There were lots of ups and downs, but they were always more mature and stable than most teen fictional characters in other shows and books. They even got married and have a baby now and it just makes me so happy.
  7. Hook and Emma from Once Upon A Time: Despite OUAT crashing and burning on their seventh season and being canceled, up until that point I really liked the show. I especially loved Emma and Hook (that relationship also had a lot of haters too, which I don't understand...). They brought out the best in one another and just really loved how good their relationship was, how loyal to each other they were.

  8. Murphy and Emori from The 100: This may seem like an odd couple to put on here, but even thieves living during the apocalypse can be romantic. They didn't meet under the best of circumstances (Emori ended up knocking Murphy out), but once they met for a second time, they were pretty much a thing. I think the last season was one of my favorite seasons because of how much of them was in it and they are literally the only real, stable couple in the entire show right now.
  9. Percy and Annabeth from Percy Jackson and the Olympians Series: How could I not put the two of them on this list? Percy Jackson and the series will always be special to me. Those books are what kindled my love for Greek mythology. My copy of The Lightning Thief is cracked and falling apart because of how many times I've read it. I just love their adorable relationship, evolving from friendship to true love where Percy fell into Tarterus to protect Annabeth.
  10. Stiles and Lydia from Teen Wolf: They weren't a couple or together or anything for a very long time, but still... they are perfect for each other and so good together. The last two seasons, it was great to see them kiss and be romantically involved. Teen Wolf was never the kind of show that revolved around drama and relationships, but what relationships they did have, they did them well.

There you have it! My top ten favorite fictional relationships. I hope you guys have a great Valentine's Day. Let me know some of your favorite fictional relationships down in the comments, I'd love to hear from you!

March-May Wrap Up!

Happy Tuesday!  So I had a March/April blog post all written out and forgot to post it! So here's a March-May recap! How has the last three months gone for you? March ended up being a really good month. I turned 25 and had a really great birthday I got to hang out with friends, watch some new shows and am almost done with the Throne of Glass series. April and May have also been really good months for me. God's blessed me in so many amazing ways over the past three months.  I feel bad that this blog has fallen so to the wayside for me. I used to post every week and be so excited and now I just really struggle to keep this updated. I'm starting to think it might be time to let this blog post unless I somehow get renewed motivation/inspiration for it.  March-May Writing:  March was a very good writing month. I just reached 65K in Immortal Circus #3, and despite a few small hiccups, it's been flowing really well. I'm enjoying getting to draft a book after spending ...

Turning 25!

Happy Thursday!  At the end of February I was looking back at my wrap ups on my Instagram and on here and it almost made me start crying because of how far I've come. It made me stop and think about where I started my 20's versus where I am now. So much as changed and so much of it for the better. Just looking back at the pictures and wrap ups I've done over the past year, I feel like I'm thriving. I'm at a place I honestly didn't think I'd ever get to and maybe that was just me being dramatic or living in on and off depression for so many years, but it makes me tear up and so thankful to see how far I've come since 20.  At 20 I had a best friend I thought I would still be best friends with when I turned 25. I had him and two other friends at 20 and that was it. I don't even remember what church we were at five years ago, but it wasn't the church we're at now and I know I definitely was not thriving there. I felt so behind everyone else my a...

A Goodbye to The Archive Series

Happy Friday!  The final book of The Archive Series comes out next Tuesday. This has been almost three years in the making and I don't know what to say to properly say goodbye.  I started this series in December 2019 with Golden Touch. The idea had been sparked by me watching The Road to El Dorado and having a desire to write a treasure hunt story for most of December. Little did I know that the story of a girl finding a boy with a Midas touch up in the mountains to help her family with their money issues would turn into a five book series and be a huge part of my life for the next few years. I also had no idea that that series would get me through one of the hardest years - 2020. Honestly, God knew what 2020 would be like and He knew I was going to need a story and characters that would make me happy, give me joy and focus on during that very hard year. And for me, that was Amaya and Darren and this whole series.  I poured a lot of myself and my story into Amaya and Darr...
