I found this quote and thought it was very intriguing. When you read you're enjoying some else's work and just soaking everything up. Whereas when you're writing it's the complete opposite. Instead of soaking everything up you're letting everything leak out. Instead of reading someone else's creation, you're making your own.
What do you think of this quote? :)
Huh. That's an interesting way of putting it--but it's true. Reading is like soaking things up while writing is bleeding out. I never really thought about it until now. :)
