Down the Rabbit Hole

This is probably my favorite New Year quote because I am a writer and so to see the New Year as the next "book" of my life is so great. 2015 is the new book your writing. Do something new and exciting. There will probably be lots of twists and turns and some of those things may not be good but by the time this year disappeared you will have a whole bunch of new memories. New chapters. Good and bad. So, get out of there and write a good one.   Plus it snowed! Last night as the snow came down it looked like the sky was raining glitter and it was beautiful. Everything is all white and sparkly.   What do you think of this quote and has it snowed wherever you are yet?  

Give God all of your fear and anxiety. Cast it all on him and he will take it and help you and comfort you. If your having a bad day or week just look at this verse and know that God is with you always.  Have a great week everyone!  

  Sorry this post is so late today! I totally spaced! Anyways this year I have a few goals that I hope to meet. 2015 is a big year for me. I'm starting college, I'm working on revising the second book in my series, and plan on writing the fourth and final book that snuck up on me. And I plan to get the first book in the series published this year. I am praying for guidance and I'm just getting started on the road to publication. I know that it will be hard but I have my hopes high. So I guess my New Year Goals are these: Get through my first semester of college. Finish revising Windstar Write the fourth book Get Stargazer edited professionally (if only because of the fact that my grammar is atrocious) Get a literary agent Get Stargazer published That's all. No big deal... just starting college (which is super scary!) and getting published... I found this quote and thought it was very intriguing. When you read you're enjoying some else's work and just soaking everything up. Whereas when you're writing it's the complete opposite. Instead of soaking everything up you're letting everything leak out. Instead of reading someone else's creation, you're making your own.  What do you think of this quote? :)

I believe in this quote whole heartedly. If it's a good book and you love it then it will never end. Like the Percy Jackson Series for me (the first one). Those characters will never leave me and there will always be different endings popping up in my head. What are your favorite books?  

Jesus gave us an example to follow. He was kind, gentle, caring, strong, wise, and understanding along with many, many other things. We need to strive to be more like Him every day. Of course we aren't perfect but we can attempt to be more like Him.   Happy Monday!
